Support to Professionals
Peer Study Groups
We offer peer study groups for active clinicians (psychodynamic, psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapists in addition to psychoanalysts) that meet on a monthly basis during the academic year. During these meetings, members can confidentially discuss their work as well as relevant literature and scientific articles. One group is currently active and future groups will be based on interest. Please contact us if you are interested and/or have ideas for future study groups. Groups are either bilingual or offered in English or French.
We offer consultation to clinicians, schools and organizations working with vulnerable populations and who are focused on the well-being of children, adolescents and young adults. Currently, we are working with both local and remote communities in Quebec and specifically with their key leaders, so we can best understand how to provide helpful and sensitive support. We are aware of the specific needs the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in and understanding how this affects us both collectively and individually is part of our approach.
Aquarium is currently in collaboration with the Lester B Pearson School Board and hopes to launch school outreach projects in the near future (currently on hold due to COVID-19).
